Why on earth would you wish to change your username on a regular basis?

If I may be permitted to make a minor correction.

Nicknames do not normally bar you from the site, unless they are implicitly or explicitly offensive. (And, yes, we have seen such names occasionally!)

Nicknames can only be changed for a brief period after joining ChessWorld, unless, under quite exceptional circumstances, we decide to permit a change.

Your description of ChessWorld is, of course, flawless and absolutely correct.

Don't take me wrong. I like your product. Good preparation for tournament and Golden Knights play.

I remember aborting against another 1400. I did this because I wouldn't get any rating points for a win and not even a standard opening or defense. But that was without making 1 move!

I've aborted against a 1300 who opened with 1. h3 but never blundered a piece on move 5.

Nobody wants to harm anybody regarding a chess web site.

Looks like people abused the ability to change nicknames.

Not necessarily a regular basis. More like once you've had time to really think about a good nickname than having to come up with one on the fly.

It's actually less important than playing opponents that chicken out on you and resign on move 5 so they don't lose any rating points.

LMAO. I'd rather eat crab rangoons with Thai seen chili sauce.

There are many types of pleasure.

Too bad I couldn't get one of the web developers to reply.

I have an idea for a cooler nickname but ...
