Also, if you have any questions about auto repeatable tournaments, feel free to ask here, or message me.

In regards to the auto repeatable tournament series that you may have already seen on the main Tournament page, if you have a favourite all-play-all or 8 player knockout specifications that you would like to see (and not on yet), just send me a private message and I'll see to setting it up.

Thank you to everyone who participated in this topic and contributed ideas.

I have now set up a total of 16 Auto Repeatable Tournaments.

11 all-play-alls
5 knockouts

I believe I have used everybody's specifications (and added some of my own), so you should be able to find your favourite tournament. If I have missed something, send me a private message, please.

--------------

Edit:

Just a reminder to everyone participating in these auto repeatable tournaments.

Everytime a tournament is filled, the tournament of itself will repeat. If you want to play the same one again, you must re-enroll each time.

ENROLLMENT IS MANUAL!

I'll agree with Retiarius' idea.

By tomorrow night, I will be making decisions on which tournaments to set up, and will announce them here.

My preference would be if possible

1) Knockout
2) 16 players
3) 1 or 2 Days per move
4) Maximum rating 1700 or open to all

currently there is no one day option for large tournaments regardless of format

Tom, you have no preferences for all-play-alls?

As for knockouts, as chessnut has stated, currently the only choice is 5 days per move. The scope of this topic is not to get that changed, as this has been discussed elsewhere to no avail. You'll just have to accept that.

As for the number of players, I'm reluctant to set up a repeatable 16 player tournament for 2 reasons.

1) There is a lot of them about with various rating ranges.

2) They take a LONG time to fill.

I think it would be best to stick to the 8 player format, but if others say they want 16 player as well, I will set that up.

WHY??

If I set up one day move tournament, players could choose to play.
I fail to see the "only"
