'Rage' suggests a fierce opponent but no outlandish claims on ability
'Klugman' some mystery I personally have no idea who or even what Klugman is

But then you drop onto the homepage and find a really funny and humorous backstory that it makes it all pretty cool overall๐Ÿ‘

I presume Klugman is from Jack Klugman aka Oscar Madison of The Odd Couple tv show and Dr. Quincy M.E.

If you are suggesting an anagram my friend you are one letter out!
If something else then do not fear.... One enjoys a good joke๐Ÿ˜‰

edit Two letters actually

Giving yourself a name that suggests you're really good is tempting fate; always a risky plan. Many years ago I played in a junior torunament and was drawn against someone I'd beaten a few months before. When we shook hands before the game he told me "revenge is sweet". I won again.

I use(d) to have "stormyweather" or deratives.
Which is not as intimidating as "Kingcrusher", but still..

But far as I remember drakenstein is the only nick I used on chessworld.

For most of us I guess its either our name or variation of, place, hobbie, etc etc. We have our Royalty of course, Earl of, Duke, Count etc. All still within the spirit if not a little grandeur.

Do certain screen names however now give you added pressure? Its common in blitz to see some very 'upfront claims'. TOTAL DESTROYER, THE TERMINATOR, etc etc and yes generally in capitols to add emphasis. Yes, even our webmaster with KingsCrusher is stepping into the arena with confidence although generally backs it up with ability

But what happens when TOTAL CHESS GOD suddenly finds out he/she is more REALLY NOT THAT GOOD!?

Thoughts?
