As K once said "where is the fun if you don't make mistakes!?"

Personally find that more appealing and has a longer lasting effect than used an engine to do the reverberations.

39...Qa3 does indeed look great. But the computer gives the crushing variation 39...c4! 40. Qf3 Qa3! 41. Rf1 (rook still under attack, so seems forced) QxQ 42. RxQ Bxd5 43. Kg2 c3 etc...

You'll be forgiven for missing this. Pretty tough to find although you were on the right track with Qa3.

39. Qa3 was a great move and put you back on top.

45. I think you should have swapped Q's followed by Pxe6

Judging by the competent play both sides the two pawns would have likely got you through with the remaining limited firepower you each had
