Outpost of Progress,
Joseph Conrad.

Neither of you considered insanity! Or maybe were just too polite to suggest it

[Quote from: "roughknight6"]A knight at an outpost ......

Could maybe look glance at the end of colonialism late 1800's.

Basically a couple of lazy caucasians end up dead.

So not good for white :)

The following question appears in my mind when i read Taotaomonas...is he so learned that his wit exceeds understanding or does he live over a saloon and amply avail himself of it's wares?

A knight at an outpost helps out the most.

The Knight on A3,
Whilst most disagree
Has far less to see
Than his ‘mate’ on C3

So ignore the books
Computers and all
Get the knight on C4
Then play like a whore

I don't have a clever rhyme for it, but if you can post a knight deep in your opponents territory it can radiate a lot of destructive influence. Such a post is usually supported by one of your own pawns and ideally cannot be dislodged by an opponents pawn.

A knight in a pawn hole helps you reach your goal?

I try to make it that the only time I am putting my knight in the corner is when I am taking the rook I had just forked.

But yes, otherwise very true. A knight in the corner will make you a mourner.
