Kal1I would like to be able to start tournaments with my own original opening! That would be less restrictive!

toolmanI'm able to set up invitation tournaments for my students, all start as guess members, but some have fallen in love with this site and move on to be full members. My biggest thrill is when they beat me. also ChessWorld figues rating. :)

Doctor DeathIt's only ten quid! Join teams, enter tournaments, have fun. Best ten quid you'll spend for your computer. Well worth it.

SportyI am enjoying playing chess for myself without the aggravation of having anything to do with the organisation. Thanks for your efforts to maintain a great site !!

jfsThe ability to play many games simultaneously, differentiates this Site. I like that. I wanted to play rated games and only members have the option in choosing their opponents. Good tactic! Price = good value at this time. E-mail driven, nice feature.

2herwluvGreat site Tryfon, I wanted to click all the above. Better than ICC I think, which is why I didn't re-new there. Hey that holiday feature got to go, being abused I think.

davidscottI have also tried playchess.de and redhotpawn.com. I tried playchess about a year ago and then tried again recently. Both times I have games interrupted because of server problems, not here. Redhotpawn does not offer tournaments and I like that part of ChessWorld.

londoner62I am the recipient of a good value, well laid out site which is extremely player friendly. I have only one bug-bear (ref. my forums-londoner62) but that is trivial in the grand scheme.

Decus TutamenThe poll would have been more reflective of me if I'd been able to check more than one choice. Chessworld is a great site, very addictive, and I'm enjoying playing opponents worldwide. I also appreciate the effort put in by the webmasters. I really like the speed of email - and the fact that (compared to the postal system) moves tend not to get lost. I played postal chess for 30 years, and ran ICCF tournaments for 6, but gave it all up due to pressure of work in the early 90's. Now retired, I spend a couple of hours each day on this site with my games. Its terrific value and great fun - and all those administrative chores involved in running tourneys and producing reports are all computerised. Congratulations on a fabulous job and best wishes for continued success.

mike1745ChessWorld.net provides a great service at a low cost. I don't have much money and I only know one or two people that play the game. This site allows me to find people to play and continue to learn the game. Thanks!
