All members can create their own games on ChessWorld, whether individually or as part of a simul display. Full Members enjoy the most flexibility, while Guest Members can still take part with certain restrictions.

Options for Full Members

• Unlimited Games: Create as many as you wish, with a safeguard of 10 per setup.
• Color Choice: Play as White, Black, or let the system assign a mixture.
• Time Limits: Choose from 1 to 15 days per move.
• Rated or Unrated: Decide whether your games affect your ChessWorld rating.
• Opening Selection: Start from a chosen opening in the database, or a position you devise.
• Opponent Criteria: Select opponents by rating range for well-matched games.

Restrictions for Guest Members

🎮 Maximum Games

Guests are restricted to 5 current games, except in Guest Welcoming Tournaments. Occasionally, ChessWorld may extend this maximum temporarily.

⏰ Time Limits

Guest Members may only play Unrated 5-day games with a mixture of colors.

Safeguards Against Overloading

When creating games, you may set up to 10 at once. To create more, you must revisit the Create New Games page. This acts as a useful check to prevent inadvertently setting up too many games.
