Magnus Carlsen
Sven Magnus Øen Carlsen (born 30 November 1990) is a Norwegian chess Grandmaster and arguably the greatest player of all time.

He became a Grandmaster in 2004 at the age of 13 years, 148 days—making him one of the youngest in history. In 2010, at age 19, he became the youngest ever world number one. He reigned as World Chess Champion from 2013 to 2023 and holds the record for the highest classical rating in history (2882). Known for his "universal style," Carlsen excels in grinding out wins from seemingly equal endgames and navigating complex middlegames with intuitive ease.
